When I was writing up my Back on Track Report, I wanted to talk about a supplement I’ve been using for my workouts, but decided it needed to be a post of its own. TwinLab Endurance Fuel (available at Vitamin Shoppe for cheaper) has been a godsend. In the two to three weeks that I’ve been back in the workout groove, I’ve experienced almost no muscular soreness. Didn’t matter if I did a track or a gym workout. Please Note: Muscular soreness is different than dead legs. There were a few days where running up the stairs was an arduous task, but the soreness has been pretty much nonexistent. The slight soreness I have felt has come from lifts like squats, which in the past would’ve had me lumbering for days. I also think the Endurance Fuel has helped push me through some tough workouts that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to complete. I guess that’s one of its purposes.
The other thing, that’s OD super great, is that I stopped cramping up on ab workouts. For the longest, any time I did an ab workout my abs would tell me chill within a few reps. Now I can get through my nightmares with just a burn and not a crawl. I think adding Endurance Fuel to the mix has played a part in this too.
One serving mixed with coldwater before a workout has been enough. You can also drink it during or after the workout. I don’t find it necessary at this point since I’m making smoothies with whey protein when I get home from the gym or track.
Please Note 2.0: Make sure you do your research before taking any supplement. I’ve used similar supplements in the past and happened to find this one the best — partially because it has less sugar than some of the others. I don’t want you coming to me talking about “Slim, I took this and it interacted negatively with my Janky Toe medication.”
Please Note 3.0: I wasn’t asked to write this, nor am I being compensated for writing this. From time to time, I’ll talk about products and services I find useful. Though I must admit, it would be dope to be the Spokesperson for something.
